COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Course is designed to familiarize the student with basic two level World Wide Web pages. The student will design and create and publish a basic web page set containing frames, index pointers, download files, forms and do extensive web site publishing.

COURSE PREREQUISITE – Introduction to Web Site Development (or equivalent)

COURSE OUTLINE:

WEEK ONE – The objective for week one is to be able to use Frames as a web site presentation technique.

Convert current 7-page site to Frame presentation

WEEK TWO – The objective for week two is to be able to convert and zip files for download from a web site.

Convert download files for Download Set (10 files)
Zip and make EXE
Create a download page
Upload files to your \Download folder
Publish web with download page and file
Test the download file
